Aria is a barista with a secret. It's not that she has an magical girl alter ego that she uses to defend the city against confectionery-themed baddies (although that's also like, a thing). She has a huge crush on one of her very cool/cute co-workers and it's time for her to come clean! Little does she know that the evening has other plans for the two and that the object of her affection also has a few secrets of her own.

Part of Audrey Redpath's Oath Anthology of New Heroes, this short is finally available to read for anyone who missed backing the Kickstarter. It was my very first comic EVER (for writing as well as art) and I'm really happy to be able to share it with you!

Please note, this 16-page short is a standalone comic and, at this time, I have not made any subsequent chapters. My workload is pretty intense right now but if there is a good amount of interest in this story, I would definitely consider doing more of it! I did this comic back in spring of 2015 and I haven't really stopped thinking about it since; I just haven't had a ton of spare time and the anthology hadn't come out yet, so I figure now's as good a time as any to test the water for the story.
